How to auto-clip Kick streams

Last updated

This is the path through JP Clips, an automated clipping tool for clippers. You join the Discord server, open a tracked Kick channel, render an edit, and download it. Automatic means the bot collects clips that already exist on Kick. It does not watch a raw VOD and pick moments for you. If that is the job you want, see JP Clips vs OpusClip.

1. Join the server

Open discord.gg/jpclips and join with Discord. Sign-in uses the identify scope, and JP Clips does not ask Discord for your email. Free and Trial stay in Discord. The website comes with Premium. The home page is the short version of the plans.

2. Open a streamer channel

Tracked streamers sit under Partnered Streamers, UK and US. Every configured channel is free to view, and ordinary members cannot type in them. You use the buttons on each post. An admin adds the Kick channel and classifies it as UK or US. There is no streamer list on jpclips.tv.

Trial and Premium members can send /requeststreamer. Approval is not automatic. A pending request blocks another for 7 days, and a denial blocks another for 14 days. Get Notifications is a separate live DM. Discord has to allow messages from the server, or they never arrive.

3. Render the clip

When a clip lands in a streamer's channel, open the post and press Edit and Download. The editor is private to you.

Premium members can apply a saved custom watermark. The choices are remembered next time. Changing a setting does not use your allowance. Starting the render does. Exports are capped at 3 minutes, and you can have up to 10 renders running or waiting. Cancel my render stops your own job until uploading has started. A failed or cancelled render returns that daily slot. A completed render counts even if you never download it. Premium renders go ahead of Free and Trial.

4. Download the file

The file is attached to your Discord render message. /myclips lists recent renders, and Premium can also download from the website. A normal render stays available for 2 hours. A render recovered after a restart stays available for 6 hours from completion. A restart does not extend a deadline that was already set. Keep your own copy. JP Clips does not upload it for you.

5. Know the allowance

The global allowance is shared across streamers that use it, and it resets at 00:00 UTC.

Every plan renders at the same high quality.

£4.99 per month, £49.99 per year and £119.99 lifetime, linked from the signed-in upgrade screen. JP Clips is not VAT registered, and no VAT is added to those prices. The yearly option lists early feature access. The lifetime option lists a 1-1 clipping mentor. Card payments are taken by Stripe. Crypto payments are taken by NOWPayments. For refunds, see /refunds. Monthly and yearly card plans renew until you cancel them with the Cancel subscription button on buy.jpclips.tv. Cancelling stops future renewals.

A partner streamer can keep the global allowance or use its own separate daily limits, including a Premium cap. A separate partner allowance does not use up the global allowance.

6. On a phone

JP Clips does not publish an iPhone or Android app. Install the Discord app, open discord.gg/jpclips, and use the same Edit and Download buttons. Save the attachment before it expires. A Premium member can also open this website in the phone's browser. Once you have the file, the money guide is Clipping.com's Kick campaign.

Common questions

Does JP Clips use AI to find Kick highlights?

No. It collects clips that already exist on Kick for streamers an admin has added, posts them in Discord, and renders an edit you download.

Do I need Premium to clip?

No. Free is 5 clips per UTC day in Discord, and Trial is 20 per UTC day for 14 days. Premium adds the website.

How long can I download a finished render?

A normal render stays available for 2 hours after it completes. A render recovered after a restart stays available for 6 hours from completion. Download it and keep your own copy.

Can I auto-clip any Kick streamer?

Only streamers an admin has added. Trial and Premium members can suggest one with /requeststreamer. Approval is not automatic.
