Terms of Service

1. Definitions and interpretation

1.1 For the purposes of these Terms: “JP Clips”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator trading as JP Clips, based in the United Kingdom; “User”, “you” and “your” mean the person accessing or using the Service; “Service” means the website accessible at jpclips.tv, the JP Clips Discord bot and the associated digital clipping and rendering functionality.

1.2 “Account” means a Discord-authenticated or administrator-issued client account; “Content” means footage, audio, images, text, watermarks and other material submitted, accessed or processed through the Service; “Premium” means a paid entitlement to the applicable Service features; “Support” means the authorised support representatives of JP Clips.

1.3 References to these “Terms” include the Refund and Cancellation Policy. References to legislation include amendments and replacement enactments. Section headings are included for convenience and shall not affect interpretation.

2. Application and acceptance

2.1 These Terms govern the provision of the Service by JP Clips to the User. By accessing or using the Service, the User agrees to be bound by these Terms. A User who does not accept these Terms shall cease use of the Service.

2.2 The User represents that they have capacity to enter into this agreement and satisfy the eligibility requirements of each relevant third-party platform. Where parental or guardian authorisation is required by law, the User shall obtain such authorisation before use or purchase.

2.3 The Service comprises collection of clips from administrator-configured Kick channels and tools for processing downloadable edits. Access is subject to the applicable Account entitlement, usage allowance, availability of source material and these Terms. No licence to third-party Content is conferred by access to the Service.

3. Account administration and security

3.1 Clipper Accounts are authenticated through Discord OAuth using the identify scope. Relevant identity and Premium, Trial or Admin membership information may be processed to authenticate the User and verify entitlement. Client Accounts are issued separately by an administrator; initial access requires the account email and one-time access code, followed by establishment of a password of at least 8 characters.

3.2 The User shall provide accurate Account information, maintain the confidentiality of access credentials and notify Support promptly upon becoming aware of suspected unauthorised access. The User shall be responsible for activities they authorise through their Account. This provision shall not relieve JP Clips of liability for breach of its own legal obligations.

4. Entitlements, allowances and fees

4.1 The applicable global allowances are: Free, 5 clip renders per UTC day; Trial, 20 clip renders per UTC day for 14 days; and Premium, unlimited renders under the global allowance. The global allowance resets at 00:00 UTC. Free and Trial do not include website access. Streamer channels in Discord remain accessible to all tiers and read-only for ordinary members.

4.2 Premium includes website access, custom watermarks and queue priority. Separate partner-specific limits may apply to Free, Trial and Premium members; an entitlement under the global allowance shall not override a custom partner limit.

4.3 The advertised Premium charges, subject to the applicable offer and total disclosed before purchase at buy.jpclips.tv, are:

• Monthly: £4.99 per month. buy.jpclips.tv/checkout/monthly.
• Yearly: £49.99 per year. buy.jpclips.tv/checkout/yearly.
• Lifetime: £119.99, one-off. buy.jpclips.tv/checkout/lifetime.

4.4 JP Clips is not VAT registered and no VAT is added to the advertised charges. The User shall review the applicable offer before confirming a purchase. Yearly and lifetime benefits, including early feature access or a 1-1 clipping mentor, are governed by the relevant offer description.

5. Payment, renewal and cancellation

5.1 Card payments are processed by Stripe and cryptocurrency payments by NOWPayments through the payment portal. Monthly and yearly card plans constitute recurring subscriptions and shall renew until effectively cancelled.

5.2 The User may cancel a recurring subscription using the Cancel subscription button at buy.jpclips.tv. Manage Subscription within Premium Settings provides access to the same portal. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not, of itself, discharge charges already incurred or establish entitlement to a refund.

5.3 Cryptocurrency purchases confer a direct entitlement and do not constitute Stripe subscriptions. A lifetime purchase is a one-off payment and is not subject to recurring renewal.

5.4 All requests for repayment shall be governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, all refunds, irrespective of plan or payment method, shall be subject to Support’s sole discretion.

6. Rendering and limited download availability

6.1 A User may have up to 10 renders running or waiting across Discord and the website. Each export is limited to 3 minutes. Processing remains subject to the relevant allowance, entitlement and operational capacity.

6.2 Normal personal-render download availability expires after 2 hours; availability for a render recovered following a restart expires 6 hours after completion. A restart shall not extend an existing expiry time. The User shall be responsible for obtaining and retaining copies before expiry.

6.3 Cancellation of queued or rendering work is available where permitted by the applicable controls. Maintenance may restrict browsing or admission of new work. Restoration of a render allowance shall not constitute, or create entitlement to, repayment of a monetary charge.

7. Intellectual property and Content licence

7.1 Title to Content shall remain with the relevant rights holder. The User represents and warrants that they hold all licences, consents and permissions necessary to submit, copy, process, edit and distribute the Content, including any associated music, likenesses and watermarks.

7.2 The User grants JP Clips a non-exclusive licence to host, reproduce, process and transmit submitted Content solely to the extent necessary to provide the Service and fulfil the User’s requests. JP Clips does not acquire ownership of third-party footage or rights held by the User in a rendered edit.

7.3 All rights in the Service software, design and branding are reserved to JP Clips and its licensors. The User is granted a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable permission to use the Service for its intended purposes in accordance with these Terms.

8. Restrictions, suspension and termination

8.1 The User shall not: infringe any intellectual property, privacy or other third-party right; submit unlawful or malicious Content; impersonate another person; circumvent payment, quota or access controls; obtain unauthorised access; or impair the security or operation of the Service.

8.2 JP Clips may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address a material breach, fraud, security risk or legal obligation. Where practicable, notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach shall be provided. Immediate protective action may be taken where circumstances require.

8.3 Termination of access shall not, of itself, cancel a separately billed subscription or confer a right to a discretionary refund. Accrued rights and mandatory statutory remedies shall remain unaffected.

9. Third-party dependencies and service standards

9.1 The Service is dependent upon third-party platforms and infrastructure, including Kick, Discord, hosting providers and payment processors. No representation is made that access shall be uninterrupted, that every source clip shall be collected, or that processing shall complete within a specified period.

9.2 JP Clips shall exercise reasonable care and skill in providing the Service. No warranty is given as to audience growth, revenue or other commercial outcome. Nothing in this clause shall exclude a condition, warranty or remedy implied by law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Liability and non-excludable rights

10.1 Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or consumer right which cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

10.2 In respect of a consumer, JP Clips remains responsible for reasonably foreseeable loss arising from its breach of these Terms or failure to exercise reasonable care and skill. JP Clips shall not be responsible for loss which was not reasonably foreseeable or which the User could reasonably have avoided.

11. Variation, severability and waiver

11.1 JP Clips may amend these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, legal requirements or security needs. Revised Terms shall be published with the applicable last updated date. Material changes affecting an existing paid entitlement shall be communicated where required by law and shall not retrospectively extinguish accrued rights.

11.2 If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in force. Failure or delay in exercising a right shall not constitute a waiver of that right.

12. Governing law and correspondence

12.1 These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory right of a consumer to rely upon the law or courts of their country of residence.
