JP Clips vs Eklipse

Last updated

Eklipse is built mainly for streamers clipping their own streams. You connect a Kick channel, or you bring a VOD, and their AI finds moments. JP Clips collects Kick clips other people have already made on tracked channels, then renders a download in Discord. Prices checked 19 October 2026, check their site before paying.

Who JP Clips is for

You join a Discord server, open a UK, US or partnered Kick channel an admin has added, and render a clip that is already posted there. You do not connect your own Kick account. You do not upload a VOD. The layouts are single panel, split screen top and split screen bottom, plus a background and an optional mirror. There are no automatic captions. Free is 5 renders per UTC day. Trial is 20 per UTC day for 14 days. Premium is the plan that includes the website. The prices are on the plans. Join discord.gg/jpclips and the home page has the short version.

What Eklipse's Kick pages say

The Kick clip maker page is written for the person who streams. One path is an email account, a Kick clip URL, then a channel-name sticker, auto captions, custom text, trim or merge. Another is Settings, then Integrations, connect the Kick channel, enable auto-processing, go live or upload a VOD, and wait for the Processed tab. You can also open studio.eklipse.gg, upload a clip, and pick a facecam and gameplay template. The page says you can share to TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts, or download.

The FAQ on that page says Kick clips are AI highlights from your Kick streams or VODs, available for Premium users, and that Kick is not on the Free plan. Eklipse also describes a voice command, saying "Clip it" while you stream. That is for the person who is live. JP Clips has no voice command and no step where you connect your Kick channel. Eklipse suits a streamer who wants the tool watching their own channel.

The Premium prices they publish

The price article, updated 12 April 2026, lists web Premium at $24.99 per month, $112.99 every six months, and $179.99 per year. The iOS and Android monthly price on that article is $27.99, with the same six-month and annual figures. The free-or-paid article, updated 13 August 2026, says creating an account is free, you can connect Twitch, YouTube or Kick and preview a scan of one recent stream, and exporting needs Premium. It lists 1080p 60fps exports with no watermark among the Premium items. JP Clips prices are in pounds on the plans. A Free JP Clips member can render 5 clips a day in Discord and download the file.

Two different starting points

Connect your own Kick channel when you want Eklipse's AI on your stream, including the "Clip it" command while you are live. For everyone else's clips that this server already tracks, the Discord post is the starting point. You still upload the JP Clips file yourself. The money guide is Clipping.com's Kick campaign, and the wider map, including ReelShift, is the 2026 comparison.
