JP Clips vs supo

Last updated

supo and JP Clips both serve people who clip Kick streams, and they cut the moment differently. JP Clips follows Kick streamers an admin has added, collects clips that already exist, and renders a download in Discord. supo's homepage says you paste a link or add a channel, and it watches the stream while it is still live, including a channel you do not own. The notes are from supo.live. Prices checked 19 October 2026, check their site before paying.

What JP Clips does for a clipper

You join the Discord server and open a UK, US or partnered Kick channel an admin has already added. The bot posts clips other people have published on that Kick channel. You press Edit and Download, pick a single panel, split screen top or split screen bottom, a background and whether to mirror, and download a file of up to 3 minutes. There are no automatic captions, and JP Clips does not upload the file to TikTok, YouTube or X.

Sign-in is Discord. Free is 5 renders per UTC day. Trial is 20 per UTC day for 14 days. Both stay in Discord. Premium is what includes the website. The prices are on the plans. There is no JP Clips phone app. The auto-clip guide is the full sequence, including the Discord app on a phone. If the moment you want is not already a public Kick clip, the bot has nothing to collect.

What supo publishes

The supo homepage names Twitch, YouTube, Kick and Rumble. You paste a link or add a channel, and supo watches the whole thing. A FAQ answer says you can clip streamers you do not own: point it at any public channel on those platforms, including your own, and it clips while the stream is still live. A past broadcast or a video link works the same way. It finds moments, cuts them, captions them and crops them.

Clips can post to TikTok, YouTube Shorts and X on connected accounts, or you can download every clip. A browser editor can change a caption, the in and out points, or the crop. Autopilot, which watches and posts while you are away, is on Creator for 1 channel and on Studio for 5. Starter has no Autopilot. The page also says supo is not SupoClip, a separate open-source project.

That is the tool for a clipper who wants software to follow a public Kick channel and cut the moment itself. JP Clips waits until Kick already has the clip, then renders a layout. supo describes captions and posting. JP Clips leaves both to you.

Prices in their FAQ

The homepage FAQ states the prices. You can start free with 1 hour of video or 40 minutes of live, with no card. Starter is $18 a month for 15 hours of video or 10 hours of live. Creator is $27 a month for 24 hours of video or 16 hours of live. Studio is $49 a month for 45 hours of video or 30 hours of live, with 5 Autopilot channels. One pool of hours covers both, and you can cancel anytime.

JP Clips prices are in pounds on the plans. Five renders a day are five finished files, not an hour of live video. The units do not match, so a free tier on one is not a free tier on the other.

When the clip does not exist yet

If the stream is live and nobody has clipped it, supo is the tool that watches the channel and cuts the moment, even when you do not own it. JP Clips picks up once Kick already has the clip in a channel this server tracks. Join discord.gg/jpclips for that feed. Choosing which of those channels are worth a render is the finding streamers guide. StreamLadder and Eklipse, which are built mainly for streamers on their own channels, are on the 2026 comparison.
